Job Description
Join a prominent firm in the accounting and tax services sector to identify an experienced and qualified Senior Tax Associate. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Tax Planning and Strategy:

    • Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize clients' financial positions.
    • Provide strategic advice on tax implications and opportunities for clients.
  2. Tax Compliance:

    • Oversee the preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses.
    • Ensure timely and accurate filing of all required tax returns.
  3. Client Engagement:

    • Foster and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and client service.
    • Act as a primary point of contact for clients on tax-related matters.
  4. Team Collaboration:

    • Work closely with other tax professionals to coordinate efforts and share expertise.
    • Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative and learning-oriented environment.
  5. Research and Analysis:

    • Conduct in-depth research on tax issues, providing well-supported recommendations.
    • Analyze financial statements and transactions to determine tax implications.
  6. Audit Support:

    • Assist in the preparation and support of tax audits, collaborating with audit teams as needed.


Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification highly preferred.
  • 3+ years of progressive experience in tax accounting and compliance.
  • In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
