As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a talented and driven Mechanical Engineer to join our team.About the Role: As a Mechanical Engineer, you will have a key role in supporting the design, analysis, component specification, integration and commissioning of facilities required for 21st century energetic material and Solid Rocket Motor manufacturing. You will join a multi-disciplinary team responsible for all aspects of requirement verifications, upgrade and anomaly resolution, design, analysis, test, and deployment of hardware and control sub-systems. You'll know you're successful in this role when you've identified blockers, guided processes to address anomalies and performance shortfalls, verified requirements are satisfied and you've delivered on the agreed upon master schedule while adhering to environmental and safety best practices. To thrive in this role, you must have demonstrated success in mechanical design, analysis, and test with an aptitude for hands-on definition of industrial CONOPS and commissioning of complex industrial/chemical systems.Required Skills & Qualifications:Design/Analysis/Manufacture and Test of energetic materials or chemical processing facilitiesDesign/Analysis/Manufacture and Test of custom tooling and fixturesExperience scoping pumps, mixers, heat exchangers, ovens, precision flow meters, etc.5+ years' experience with Solidworks CAD and PDM or equivalentExperience working in multidisciplinary teams of ~5 engineersAnalysis skills from notebook level to advanced simulation capturing stress, fluid flow, thermal and/or electrical powerDemonstrated electro/mechanical hands-on assembly and trouble-shooting aptitudeBachelors degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or equivalentMust be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearanceMust be a US Persons as defined by § 120.62 of the ITARX-Bow Launch Systems, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer; employment with X-Bow Launch Systems, Inc. is based on merit, competence, and qualifications and will not be influenced in any manner by race, color, religion, gender, national origin/ethnicity, veteran status, disability status, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, mental or physical disability or any other legally protected status.Thank you for your interest in joining X-Bow Launch Systems, Inc., the space revolution on a solid foundation.
