WHAT YOUR ROLE ENTAILS

As a Certified Pediatric Occupational Therapist, your workday will center on providing hands-on, therapy to children within their natural environments-from homes and playgrounds to familiar community settings. You will also serve as a resource and coach for families, ensuring they feel empowered to continue progress outside of each session. As part of a collaborative team, you'll participate in weekly staff meetings and case conferencing, where you'll join fellow therapists and educators taking a team approach to evaluate children for services Your key responsibilities include:
  • Conducting evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and documenting progress.
  • Delivering a parent-coaching model therapy designed to meet each child's unique needs.
  • Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of professionals through weekly case conferences and meetings.
  • Balancing fieldwork and admin tasks, which can be completed remotely or in the office.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
  • Master's degree in occupational therapy from an accredited college or university
  • Pediatric occupational therapy training and/or experience
  • Washington State Professional License through the Washington State Department of Health
  • Valid Washington driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of current personal liability insurance
  • Good driving record, as defined by HRC's agency insurance policy
  • Willingness to obtain a CPR/First Aid Certification within the first 90 days of employment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Neurodevelopmental Treatment Training and/or a Sensory Integration Certification
