Your role at Baxter

Directly lead and supports a staff of employees assigned to various jobs such as receiving, shipping, customer orders, and/or replenishment. This position will ensure that customer orders, complaints, and requests are processed in a timely, accurate, and cost-effective manner.

Your team

• Monitor daily operations across 2nd shift including performance, attendance, and merit evaluations.
• Interact with plant management on operating issues relative to transportation, warehouse, and inventory control that impact plant operations.
• Commit to employee feedback and developmental processes.
• Adheres to corporate trade compliance regarding import/export.
• Plan and coordinate efficient transfer of materials and finished products to and from production and warehouse areas.
• Responsible for maintaining proper inventory control procedures and documentation for all materials and production supplies and finished product produced, stored, and shipped from the plant.
• Adheres to all environmental, health and safety SOPs, regulatory requirements, equipment, policies and procedures, including any department specific requirements.
• Support plant-wide strategic plan programs and activities.
  

What you'll bring

• High school or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Five+ years of warehouse/distribution experience
• 1+ year/s of leadership experience.
• Ability to monitor activities of warehouse through subordinates.
• Manage multiple priorities in a warehouse setting.
• Knowledge of WMS (Warehouse Management system) and PC environments required.
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all our employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. To that end, this position has a salary range of 72,000 to 99,000 and also includes an annual incentive bonus.

The above range represents the expected salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.
