The Assistant Director of Nursing will work alongside the Director of Nursing with the Administrator and the Medical Director to ensure the highest degree of quality of care is maintained for each resident at all times. Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the facility's administration and Nursing Policies and Procedures.Qualification/Responsibilities:Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of employmentMust have, as a minimum, two (2) year of recent experience in a supervisory role in a nursing care facilityStrong assessment skillsKnowledge of PCCAssist in organizing, developing and directing the overall operations of the Nursing Service Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern the facilityInfection Preventionist certificate preferredShift & Wage:Full-Time Opportunity AvailableShifts Needed: Monday-FridayWage: CompetitiveAbout Us:We strive to be the leader in the long-term care industry operating in 6 different states.
