Position DescriptionThe Procurement Manager position focuses on Restaurant Maintenance & Repair (M&R) and is responsible for sourcing, category management and tactical purchasing activities across multiple areas of spend in collaboration with operations and cross-functional team members.

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesIdentify & Realize Cost-improvement OpportunitiesDevelop and execute purchasing strategies for goods and services by conducting opportunity assessments, benchmarking, cost modeling and root cause analysisBuild & Manage RelationshipsManage vendor relationships to maximize value and mitigate risk to the businessBuild, maintain and grow effective relationships across the enterpriseElevate Team & Organizational EffectivenessAct as a business partner in support of strengthening market-level & Support Center operationsLeverage a continuous improvement focus to help improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the procurement team

Desired SkillsCreative critical thinker with advanced problem-solving and sound decision-making abilitiesDemonstrable analytical ability with a sharp eye for numerical detail and ability to understand and discuss potential financial outcomesResults-oriented, hands-on individual with a high attention to detailAble to influence outcomes, without direct authority, building a high-level of credibility in the processEffective communication skills and experience partnering with various levels of the organizationOpenness to change, resilience and comfort with ambiguity in a high-energy, fast paced industry.

Experience & Education5-7 years general procurement experience with 3-5 years directly managing Facilities and/or Construction categories3-5 years contract management experienceRestaurant and/or foodservice experience preferredBachelors degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain preferredProfessional certification(s) preferred (i.e. CRFP, CPSM, APICS)Project management skills desiredHighly proficient in Office 365 environment, SAP experience a plus
