This role involves supporting design project delivery by preparing comprehensive site and construction documentation in a collaborative team environment. Requirements Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering (required) 510 years of experience in civil/site land planning and engineering Proficiency with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD drafting tools Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized Able to collaborate effectively within a team Prior experience in Maryland or Southern Maryland is preferred, but not required Responsibilities Prepare land development construction drawings such as site layout, utility, and roadway plans Assist with zoning, preliminary, and conceptual plans Perform grading design, earthwork analysis, and apply best practices for safety and efficiency Conduct soil erosion and sediment control design, including stability calculations, BMPs, swale and spillway design, and construction sequencing Interpret applicable codes and standards by collaborating with project managers and engineers Process design plan submissions to local, state, and federal regulatory agencies Receive day-to-day direction from the Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager Supportive, collaborative work culture emphasizing technical growth and team performance Professional development through training in communication, negotiation, regulatory updates, and public speaking Robust benefits package, including: Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance Prescription coverage Flexible spending accounts 401(k) with company match Life and disability insurance Tuition reimbursement and continuing education support 3P Careers specializes in placing engineers, architects, interior designers, and related professionals.
