Job Description This role will report to the Accounting Manager and will play an important role in handling the Company's US payable support, accounts reconciliation, and relevant tax filing. This position will make key contributions by coordinating and analyzing information required for resolving payable issues and participates in the financial close process. The individual must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and possess effective communication skills as well as thrive in a challenging and fast-paced environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Work with Shared Service Center (SSC) Philippines. Provide necessary US payables support to SSC-Philippines team during US time zone. This includes, but is not limited to US payables and Good Receipt (GR) matters. Analyze, research, and resolve aged US AP and GR issues as needed. Complete monthly supplier reconciliations for critical US suppliers as needed. Complete AP Trade, GR, and related GL reconciliations as assigned as needed. Develop, document and update global payable policies and procedures as needed. Prep internal and external US audit samples as needed. Responsible for all aspects related to: US P-Card program US annual 1099 process US Tax payables US aged/outstanding checks and provide support to US Tax team with annual escheatment process. Assist with global AP and GR projects as assigned. Review non-SSC (China, India, and Israel) AP as assigned. Work closely with cross-functional business partners at all levels: Supplier Master Org. (SMO), Procurement, Treasury, Tax, and others. Qualifications: Requirements: BS/BA degree or equivalent with 4 or more years of accounting experience in a multinational global company and shared services center. Preferred 3 or more years full cycle Accounts Payable experience. Experience with SAP and Oracle or Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP a plus. Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc. Skills: Outstanding performer, high integrity, teamwork, committed, and flexible. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Self-starter, works independently, deals with ambiguity, exercises prudent judgment. Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. Conduct business and perform responsibilities in an ethical manner. Develop and maintain good working relationships with internal personnel and/or external contacts. Compensation & Benefits Details An employee’s pay position within the salary range may be based on several factors including but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, ability, knowledge of the job, performance, contribution, results, geographic location, shift, internal and external equity, and business and organizational needs. The salary range is what we believe to be the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in California, Colorado, New York, or remote jobs that can be performed in California, Colorado, and New York. This range may be modified in the future. You will be eligible to participate in Western Digital’s Short-Term Incentive (STI) Plan, which provides incentive awards based on Company and individual performance. Depending on your role and your performance, you may be eligible to participate in our annual Long-Term Incentive (LTI) program, which consists of restricted stock units (RSUs) or cash equivalents, pursuant to the terms of the LTI plan. Please note that not all roles are eligible to participate in the LTI program, and not all roles are eligible for equity under the LTI plan. RSU awards are also available to eligible new hires, subject to Western Digital’s Standard Terms and Conditions for Restricted Stock Unit Awards.
