We are helping a client that is looking for a Warehouse Manager on their team.

Position

  • Shift: 8:00 am 4:30 pm

Background Requirements

  • BA/BS in business, logistics, or related field or equivalent preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience leading a material management support capability (Automotive experience preferred)
  • Ability to demonstrate Integrity and Humility in every situation.
  • Must be able to solve simple and complex operational and/or people problems.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding and proficiency in using various Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proven leadership abilities through empowering others, fostering growth, and achieving collective success.
  • Ability to effectively present information
  • Efficient Time Management skills through appropriate prioritization of tasks.
  • Successful track record of navigating and responding to unexpected or changing circumstances.
  • Meaningful and respectful communication through active listening and collaboration with colleagues.
  • Recognize and drive value-added conflict resolution through open-mindedness and finding common ground.

Job Responsibilities

  • Proactively strategize and oversee material management and shipping and receiving dock operations.
  • Skillfully lead, coach, evaluate, and develop all staff members to enhance performance and propel organizational growth.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to enforcing established safety, quality, and delivery policies and initiatives while ensuring accountability across the organization.
  • Thoroughly analyze system reports to pinpoint performance gaps and proactively drive continuous improvement. Collaborate with support teams, leveraging established company practices to enhance overall efficiency.
  • Lead the team in creating and maintaining a precise physical inventory of all raw materials and components utilized in production.
  • Empower the team with the necessary tools and resources to efficiently carry out material management activities, ensuring impeccable product presentation and integrity.
  • Maintain compliance with local labor agreements and adeptly resolve day-to-day union issues.
