BASIC PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION

Safeguard Kubota's assets and assess risk exposure using financial and other reporting analytics. Train dealership personnel on Kubota inventory programs and inventory accounting policies. Identify dealerships with elevated risk.

PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES: This position does the following in accordance with all applicable Federal, State and local laws / regulations and the Company's policies, procedures and guidelines:

  • Responsible for departmental relationships with external and internal customers by ensuring our services and solutions are delivered in alignment with each client's objectives while maintaining and complying with company policies.
  • Applies in-depth analytical skills to fully understand the financial health of dealerships for improved recommendations on dealership credit line amounts, establishing credit ratings and potential expansion.
  • Assess each dealer's financial performance through benchmarking to competitors, identifying best practices and business process analysis.
  • Partner and lead your finance team for adhering to GAAP while identifying and managing credit risk.
  • Oversee and manage all weekly, monthly, and yearly financial reports and data bases.
  • Oversee and provide support and training to department employees in the field.
  • Additional duties as assigned by management.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting Business, Mathematics or other related degree preferred
  • With a degree at least 3 years of related experience required in these areas-
    • Financial statement preparation and in supervisory positions
    • Expert dealership financial statement analytic and forensic skills
    • Skilled in collections with full understanding of FCRA principles
    • Strong inventory analysis and auditing skills
  • 2 years experience in client management (internal or external)
  • Experience implementing procedures to ensure proper internal controls in the area of finance
  • TECHNOLOGY: Proficient in Microsoft Suite.
  • TRAVEL: Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to function in an office as well as a field environment. May be required to visit dealerships requiring walking, standing, climbing and sitting at a computer. May be required to work in all weather conditions.
