Warehouse Supervisor - 12927 **Description**

**WORK SCHEDULE:**

1st Shift

**SUMMARY**

The Warehouse Supervisor, under the direction of the Operations Manager, will lead and supervisor warehouse personnel to monitor, direct, and ensure that all incoming shipments are received and placed in location properly and all customer orders are picked, quality checked, staged, picked up or delivered according to established procedures, processes, and metrics.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

* Design and implement quality procedures, processes, and work instructions to increase productivity and improve service in the warehouse.

* Cross train warehouse personnel on all applicable warehouse procedures and processes

* Ensure material handling equipment (MHE) is maintained and serviceable.

* Collaborate with Management to ensure program metrics are met.

* Lead warehouse and shipping personnel to ensure that predetermined productivity, cost and quality standards are achieved or exceeded.

* Ensure safety and housekeeping

* Act as Facility Safety representative; ensuring all safety training and safety checks are completed and met.

* Perform QA (Quality Assurance) tasks; audit incoming and outgoing material, ensure inventory accuracy and monitor warehouse packaging requirements and supplies

* Maintain logs, records, and metrics

* All other duties as assigned.

**SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES**

* Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws.

* Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and counseling employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

**Qualifications**

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

* Able to work 1st Shift

**EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE**

* High School Diploma or equivalent required.

* At least four (4) years of Warehouse experience is required.

* At least three to five (3 - 5) years experience in a Warehouse Supervisory role is preferred.

* Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel

* Prior experience providing 3PL services

* Experience with Boeing systems and processes highly desired.
