Job Title: Pharmacist IIResponsibilitiesReview prescriptions for accuracy and determine necessary formulas and ingredients.Direct pharmacy workers in mixing, packaging, and labeling pharmaceuticals.Answer questions and provide information to customers on drug interactions, side effects, dosages, and storage.Maintain quality assurance procedures and ensure the security of controlled substances.Dispose of hazardous waste drugs according to established procedures.Enter data to maintain pharmacy files, charge systems, and inventory.Assay medications to determine identity, purity, and strength.Instruct interns and other medical personnel on pharmacy-related matters.Essential SkillsLicensed Pharmacist in IllinoisExperience in a retail pharmacy - preferredStrong multi-tasking abilitiesExcellent communication skillsSelf-motivatedScheduleMonday through Friday - hours between 7am and 7pm About Actalent Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
