Overview:

As an Office Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office environment. You will be responsible for performing a variety of administrative tasks to support our daily operations and assist other team members as needed. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive attitude.

Schedule (days/hours):
12-15 hours per week

Responsibilities:
  • Greet and assist visitors in a professional and courteous manner
  • Answer and direct phone calls to appropriate personnel
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting, distributing, and preparing outgoing packages
  • Maintain office supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level
  • Assist with scheduling appointments and meetings, including coordinating conference room reservations and preparing meeting materials
  • Perform data entry and file management tasks, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of information
  • Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks, such as processing invoices and expense reports
  • Support other administrative staff with various tasks as needed
Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in an office environment preferred but not required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in work
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn


Compensation:
$18 per hour
