at Equity Bank in Wichita, Kansas, United StatesJob Description at Equity Bank in Wichita, Kansas, United StatesJob Description Responsibilities and Expectations 1.Equity Bank Real Estate Collateral ProcessUnderstand and follow the real estate appraisal and evaluation regulations as defined by the Interagency Appraisal and Evaluation Guidelines and FAQ SR05-5.Assign appraisal reviews and real estate collateral evaluationsBalance the Appraisal Shield pass-through GL account monthlyComplete compliance appraisal reviews as neededComplete real estate collateral evaluations per regulatory guidelines2.Internal and External CommunicationCommunicate appraisal and internal evaluation guidelines throughout the bank to lending staff.Assist in the effective communication of regulatory guidelines and internal bank policies surrounding appraisals and internal evaluations.Facilitate correspondence with appraisers when necessary3.Real Estate Collateral Process TrainingAssist Loan Officers and Loan Assistants with the appraisal ordering processCreate and update procedure guidelines for training and internal bank reference.4.Customer relationships.Utilize written and oral communication skills to relay and acquire information to and from both internal and external customersDevelop and maintain a positive professional image for Equity BankCreate a friendly, customer service image to internal and external customers5.Understand and follow the applicable laws and regulations for job responsibilities including but not limited to Equity Bank Business Ethic and Conduct policy, Bank Secrecy Act, Information security, and Suspicious Activity reporting requirements.6.Other Duties and Tasks as assigned or required. Required Skills & Education Bachelors degree preferred.3-5 years banking experience or relevant experience requiredExcellent interpersonal skills and professional mannerComputer skills, especially the ability to work in Windows based systemsEmployee is responsible for understanding and following the applicable laws and regulations for their job responsibilities including but not limited to Equity Bank Business Ethic and Conduct policy, Bank Secrecy Act, Information security, and Suspicious Activity reporting requirements.The above statements are intended to generally describe the nature and level of work to be performed by most people assigned to this job.
