store. **Role Overview** Fisker is looking for a **Buyer, Indirect Purchase & Business Services** to join our team in Manhattan Beach, CA or Detroit, MI . This position works with executive leadership and our operations teams to manage procurement, vendor negotiations and vendor relationships. This role requires exceptional communication, negotiation and organizational skills. A successful candidate needs to thrive in a pressurized environment using data and facts to help identify risks, manage resources and solve problems quickly and effectively. A strong team ethic with the ability to interact at all levels and across business boundaries is required to be successful in this position. **Responsibilities** * Create Purchase requisitions in ERP system * Enters POs that are approved per budget * Issue purchase orders quickly and without error * Follow up with internal stakeholders to insure that PO are getting approved in an expeditious manner * Ensure purchase orders are acknowledged by suppliers * Obtain the original promise date from suppliers * Review open order report and manage deliveries * Resolve invoice issues and ensuring that vendors are paid on time * Expedite parts as necessary * Act as customer service for Fisker internal customers * Support the Manager of Indirect Procurement in cost savings initiatives as needed * Lead miscellaneous procurement projects as needed **Qualifications** * Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in Business or related field or equivalent work experience required. * Experience with sustainable sourcing and logistics. SAP experience highly desirable * 3- 5 years of buyer experience. Experience with Indirect materials is highly preferred * Self-starter with a high level of flexibility and commitment, and a strong drive to win. * Strong communication skills (both written and verbal), problem-solving skills, and analytical skills. * Ability and desire to work cross-functionally with engineering, procurement, logistics, manufacturing, to resolve implementation issues holistically. * Experienced with Microsoft Office and common workplace software applications. * Detail oriented with strong record-keeping and organizational skills. **Preferred Skills / Experience / Competences** * **Drive for Results**: Drive for high performance, takes responsibility and works towards planning targets, overcoming obstacles, setbacks and uncertainty. * **Business Acumen:** Contribute to the company strategy and aligns the strategic priorities of own area with the direction and strategic priorities of the broader organization. * **Customer Centricity:** Anticipates evolving customer needs and how to address them, doing the right thing in the right way * **Decision Making:** Makes timely, informed decisions that consider the facts, goals, constraints, and risks. * **Analytical Thinking:** Gather relevant information, identify key issues, compare data from different sources; draw appropriate conclusions to arrive at appropriate solutions. * **Teamwork & Collaboration:** Facilitates Collaboration, actively engaging and to make joint decision and share best practices. * **Displays Global Perspective:** Conveys an understanding of the organization's global market position, opportunities, capabilities, and competitive threats and takes cultural issues and geographic differences into account when making plans and decisions. **Buyer, Indirect Purchase & Business Services** Fisker Inc
