TITLE: Risk Mitigation Specialist - Mid (Risk Management Officer - Mid)

LOCATION: Quantico, VA

OVERVIEW: The Risk Mitigation Specialist - Mid prepares, implements, and oversees routine to moderately complex risk mitigation strategies (RMSs) that address risk indicators. Ensures RMSs meet quality standards, convey appropriate risk treatments and rationale, and adhere to style guides. Manages companies operating under mitigation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Prepare and oversee risk mitigation strategies addressing risk indicators
  • Ensure strategies meet quality standards and convey appropriate risk treatments
  • Actively manage portfolio of companies under mitigation
  • Provide technical direction on business/security risks and mitigation measures
  • Coach, train and mentor junior risk management officers
  • Conduct peer reviews and identify areas for workflow and product improvements
  • Manage workload, monitor metrics, and disseminate performance data
  • Respond to information requests and brief at conferences with customers
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree in an area related to the labor category
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in risk management, data analysis, and strategic communications
  • Experience with risk management systems or guidelines
  • Active TS/SCI clearance
