**Description**

The Parts Delivery Associate is responsible for transporting parts, components, and equipment to and from customer, vendor, and company locations and job sites. Parts Delivery Associates will simultaneously serve as a liaison between Thompson RIG360 Truck Source and the customer, helping to grow parts and service sales through building customer relationships. Delivery associates will transport parts and other items associated with our Truck business. Delivery associates must be able to safely operate a lift truck in the loading and unloading of cargo. The Parts Delivery Associate will demonstrate initiative, commitment to team work, enthusiasm for customer service, and dedication to finding solutions in an efficient manner. In addition to delivery, this position will be responsible for assisting in the maintenance and growth of parts sales with the accounts on the assigned routes.

Conduct and document daily vehicle inspections

Maintain truck and driving log according to DOT Regulations

Adhere to DOT and Company safely regulations and procedures

Ensure preventive maintenance on truck is performed as required

Load and unload truck cargo

Properly secure truck cargo for transport

Ensure proper documentation for cargo including MSDS for hazardous materials

Follows 5-Star Contamination Control procedures

Maintain clean, neat, and orderly truck

All essential job functions associated with Shipping Clerk and Truck Driver

Pull proper parts from inventory in correct quantities

Accurately process and complete parts orders without supervision

Operate a lift truck in a safe manner

Respond appropriately to customer demands

Deliver parts and packages to designated areas in a timely manner

Schedule pickup and delivery of merchandise by common carriers
