BDO zoekt een ervaren expert op het gebied van arbeids-, sociale zekerheidsrecht en immigratie om ons Legal team te versterken vanuit ons kantoor gelegen in Zaventem of in Gent.

Als aanspreekpunt voor alle materie rond arbeids-, sociale zekerheidsrecht en immigratie binnen dit kantoor, biedt deze functie tevens een unieke kans om nieuwe business opportuniteiten te ontwikkelen.

What will you be doing?:
  • Als Expert ben je verantwoordelijk voor het leveren van hoogwaardig juridisch advies op het gebied van sociale wetgeving, zowel intern aan de diverse Business Lines van BDO als extern aan klanten.
  • Je ondersteunt collega's van verschillende Business Lines, zoals payrolldiensten (nationaal en internationaal), tax, deal & valuation advisory, enz.
  • Extern adviseer je zowel Belgische als buitenlandse ondernemingen en begeleid je projecten zoals (collectieve) ontslagen, fusies, nieuwe arbeidsregelingen, en werkvergunningen, waarbij kennis van internationaal arbeids- en sociaal zekerheidsrecht van essentieel belang is. Kennis van immigratie (wetgeving en procedures) is een grote troef.
  • Je adviezen zijn oplossingsgericht, pragmatisch en toegankelijk geschreven.
  • Met jouw inlevingsvermogen en commercile instelling benut je consultancy-mogelijkheden binnen de BDO-groep optimaal en word je voor klanten een vertrouwenspersoon en aanspreekpunt bij vragen.
  • Daarnaast lever je een bijdrage aan publicaties over arbeidsrecht, sociaal zekerheidsrecht en immigratierecht waar BDO (mede)auteur van is, en verzorg je opleidingen en informatiesessies over diverse sociaalrechtelijke en immigratie-gerelateerde onderwerpen.
  • Je helpt mee om de business verder op te bouwen door zowel intern als extern je netwerk te verbreden.
What do you bring to the table?:
  • Master in Rechten met een specialisatie in Sociaal Recht of een grote interesse voor de sociaaljuridische wetgeving.
  • Minimum 7 jaar ervaring in adviesverlening, meer bepaald op sociaaljuridisch vlak en bij voorkeur ook met ervaring in immigratie en werkvergunningen.
  • Empathisch anticiperen op de behoeften van klanten en een pragmatische en oplossingsgerichte ingesteldheid.
  • Analytisch, communicatief en contactvaardig.
  • Bondige en synthetische schrijfstijl en oog voor detail.
  • Je kan je vlot uitdrukken in het Nederlands en Engels zowel mondeling als schriftelijk. Kennis van het Frans is zeker een troef.
  • Je beschikt over sterke sociale vaardigheden en combineert dit met een commercile ingesteldheid.

  • Je bent een teamspeler die ook zelfstandig kan werken.
