Locum-to-Perm Richmond, Virginia, Neurohospitalist OpeningClinical Role:

    • Shift: Typical hours are 8am-5pm or 8am-6pm
    • On Call Requirements: 7 on/7 off call rotation. 24 hours to see a consults
    • Practice Setting Inpatient neuro consult service. No code stroke response, neuro emergencies handled via tele-neurology
    • This role would involve consults and rounding. They have 24 hours to see consults, and then there are follow-ups as well
    • Reason for Coverage: MD resignation
    • Patient Population for Required Coverage: Adult, ED, Medicine
    • One APP available M-F
    • No Other Neurohospitalists be Present During Locum's Coverage
    • Average Number of Patients Per Day - INPATIENT: 15
    • No Response to In-House Codes
    • Areas of Rounding 6, ED, ICU
    • Board Certified - Required
    • VA State License (will accept those willing to obtain)- Required
    • ACLS/ BLS - Required
