Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Medical Assistant - Levit, Brooklyn. In this role, the successful candidate will assist physicians and nurses in providing patient care. Job Responsibilities: Assist patients and communicate with physicians to obtain prescription renewals as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Obtain vital signs, weights, EKGs, and assist with blood collection/phlebotomy as needed. Assist with maintaining patient flow, escorting patients and specimens, and ensuring chart readiness. Stock exam rooms with supplies and notify management when low. Ensure exam rooms are cleaned and prepared for the next patient, including light housekeeping. Complete patient charges according to policy. Assist patients with daily needs to ensure comfort. Assist physicians with procedures, including sterilization of equipment. Answer calls and assist with scheduling treatments. #J-18808-Ljbffr
