Job Title: Storeroom Clerk
Classification: Non-Exempt
Department: Maintenance
Reports to: Maintenance Manager
Purpose:
The overall view is to maintain the correct levels of inventory to meet the needs of production and maintenance day-to-day operations, keeping the inventory value as low as possible, correct turnover of inventory and repairing of items instead of buying new.
General Duties:

• Maintain accurate inventory for the Maintenance department
• Preform inventory counts as needed
• Update inventory parts information
• Work with vendors on getting better pricing
• Drive forklifts to pick up stock or to deliver to designated locations
• Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves
• Dispose of damaged or defective items, or return them to vendors
• Store items in an orderly and accessible manner
• Maintain good safe working practices.
• Organize and maintain work areas for a good 5S.
• Perform all duties necessary in creating an efficient, effective, and affordable maintenance department.
• Other duties as assigned.
