We are a boutique-sized diversified downstream energy company with a range of assets, including petroleum refining, logistics, renewable fuels, and convenience store retailing.

+ Our refineries in Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana have a combined crude capacity of 302,000 barrels per day

+ Our logistics business currently owns and operates 720 miles of crude and product pipelines, a 600-mile crude oil gathering system, and storage tanks and terminals.

+ Our Retail or convenience store part of Delek, runs over 250 stores in Texas and New Mexico. We also have company-branded New-to-Industry DK stores in the southern part of the US

+ Our three renewables plants in Texas, Arkansas, and Mississippi combined can produce 40 million gallons of biodiesel fuel a year.

**JOB SUMMARY**

Develops and modifies process formulations, methods and controls to meet quality standards. Recommends and implements improvements, modifications or additions to document work. Reviews product development requirements for compatibility with processing methods to determine costs and schedules. Integrates equipment and material capabilities to meet process module target specifications and technology target specifications.

**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**

+ 4 year / Bachelor's Degree (Required)

+ Master's Degree (Preferred)

+ Four (4) or more years Experience in a related field (Required)

+ Ten (10) or more years Process engineering experience in refining industry required. (Preferred)

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**

+ Applies process engineering principles and expertise during project development and in support of other refinery departments as needed.

+ Produces process designs for projects on Capital Plan to improve safety, operation, maintenance, and profitability of refinery within department standards and environmental regulations.

+ Provides troubleshooting and optimization assistance for Operations. Conducts daily performance monitoring including energy consumption, yields and process unit health performance indicators.

+ Generates, analyzes, interprets, acts upon and disseminates these performance indicators and unit operations data for assigned units. Evaluates catalyst usage and performance.

+ Reviews findings with refinery management and secures approval to implement. Exercises judgment in equipment design and process development to ensure safety, environmental, economic and operability objectives are met.
