The IT Programmer Analyst's primary role is to design, develop, configure, and maintain our software applications. The successful applicant will analyze user requirements, create technical specifications, and implement solutions that enhance the company's business operations. This role will also troubleshoot problem areas in a timely and accurate fashion and provide end-user support where required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
•Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications.
•Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of systems.
•Perform system analysis, debugging, and troubleshooting.
•Development tasks using SQL, VB, Python, Java, or PowerBuilder.
•Develop and maintain database systems.
•Provide technical support and training to end-users.
•Learn about our business operations and stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:
•Proven experience as a programmer analyst or similar role is preferred.
•Experience with database management systems (SQL, MySQL, Oracle).
•Familiarity with SQL, VB, Java, Python, or PowerBuilder.
•Previous experience in integrating ERP software with external systems is highly beneficial.
•Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
•Previous experience in the wood products industry is a plus.

Education and/or Experience
•BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
•2 or more years' experience in related field is a plus
