The salary range for this role, based in Dallas is $83,400 to $104,300, range will vary if outside of this location. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate’s experience, skills against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.
Position Summary
A core part of the PRUSA Commercial Sales organization, the Chains Division is responsible for directing and driving all commercial activity for key National Accounts (off- and on-premises) as well as the US Military business. This includes well-known national chains such as Kroger, Albertsons, Walmart, Costco, Target, Caesars Entertainment, MGM Resorts, Marriott International and Hilton Hotels.
The position of Senior Finance Analyst is a crucial role within the Chains Finance team at Pernod Ricard USA. This role delivers critical decision support and analytics to drive business opportunities and is responsible for the aligning and monitoring of KPIs related to promotional investment expenditures. The Senior Financial Analyst will act as one of the key subject matter experts for our internal business analytics tools to drive actionable insights in line with our annual objectives as well as direct the development and operationalization of enhanced budgeting & analytical models & tools and processes. This role will also contribute to key digital transformation projects.
This role reports to the Division Finance Director and will partner closely with the Chains Finance Managers to help identify how best to analyze strategic options for decision making.
Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities
Finance
Maintain accountability for market-level spend accuracy within budget (Customer Redemptions, A&P and T&E spend)
Period end close responsibilities including preparation of accruals and analysis of actual results versus budget/forecast
Provide monthly tracking, monitoring, commentary, and insights to key stakeholders
Preparation of annual budgets and latest estimates with input from the Chains Commercial and HQ teams
Develop strong financial reporting framework to promote optimal mix of investment decisions
Build ad-hoc “what-if” type analysis to support leadership decision making and conduct program post-analysis to evaluate ROI
Assistance in the preparation of business cases to support brand-related commercial decisions (e. commercial KPI’s, pricing, product/range extensions, etc.)
Strategic Thought Partner
Act as a key finance business partner to the Chains Commercial team by delivering actionable insights and recommendations
Liaise and facilitate strategic alignment between the Chains Division, HQ Finance and the A&P Effectiveness team
Collaborate with various teams for data management and system improvements and integrations
Play an integral role in PR USA change management
Conduct periodic team training sessions to improve tool knowledge, analytic capabilities and commercial acumen of the sales teams
Ad Hoc analysis, reporting and data input to various systems
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics; MBA a plus
Experience / Background: Minimum 3-5 years in a financial planning & analysis or commercially focused business analytics role with demonstrable career progression. Should have a high level of comfort with planning, budgeting & forecasting, navigating & managing a financial P&L, and delivering insight-driven commercial analysis.
Industry experience preferable but not essential

Understand market dynamics and be able to clearly articulate strategic priorities for the business from both a finance & commercial perspective
High attention to detail, while maintaining sight of the big picture and understanding of “why”

High proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint & Finance Software(s), Power BI
