Hiring Opportunity: Perrysburg OHOur client out of Perrysburg OH is looking to add a first shift CNC Machinist to their team Our client is a leader in the aftermarket parts industry within the flexible packaging industry.The CNC Machinists main role will be to machine existing jobs and new jobs per Planning & Engineering procedure using Mastercam generated programs.Qualified candidates will have experience with horizontal latheJob RequirementsResponsibilities:-Machine existing and new jobs per Planning & Engineering procedure using Mastercam generated programs.- Verify program set-ups and perform at machine adjustments using cutter compensation and other techniques to achievement print tolerances.- Perform in-process inspections on all parts.- Machine work holding tight tolerances.- Work with Programming to assist in developing new methods to minimize operations and shorten lead times through production.- Communicate effectively with engineering and programming departments.- Have own tools and reliable transportation.Qualifications:- High School Diploma- Engineering certificate or Journeyman"s card from a college or trade school preferred.- 3 years experience in CNC machining and machine set-ups.- Knowledge of Mazak Smooth controls and operation is a plus- Experience in CNC programming using Mastercam helpful.- Experience running turn/mill centers and 5 axis programming is a plus.- Ability to work effectively with team members to produce accurate, high quality parts within tight deadlines.- Ability to read and interpret complex drawings.
