Our client is currently seeking a Process Engineer for their manufacturing plant near the Memphis, TN area.Position Description:*Evaluating proposed projects from a
business sense
viewpoint and recommending appropriate courses of action to upper management*Ensuring compliance with safety, sanitation, and government regulations*Working cross-functionally to bring direction to complex situations, while providing guidance and advice to internal partners*Staying current with new technology and processes that could help improve profit margins and recommending applications for this technology*Devising testing procedures and trials to verify design concepts*Providing technical advice and assistance to internal partners*Investigating and evaluating new or improved technology/methods for improving our production systems Position Requirements:*A Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering is required*3+ years of experience within manufacturing*Ability to understand, evaluate and improve process flows*Strong continuous improvement background*Experience within food or beverage manufacturing a plus, but not requiredUI 655605
