What you’ll do… We are looking for a reliable Accounting Operations Manager to oversee and manage the financial statements for our Construction and Operations & Maintenance teams that follow all regulatory and accounting guidelines under the supervision of the Accounting Director. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for: 1) reviewing, identifying and preventing discrepancies in financial information, 2) assisting in developing and documenting processes, procedures, and internal controls, and 3) managing members of the team to ensure a successful monthly closing process. An effective Accounting Operations Manager: 1) must have extensive knowledge of accounting principles, 2) be an organized professional with a great attention to detail, and 3) be reliable and able to carry out tasks autonomously and collaboratively. The primary goal is to ensure reliable, accurate and timely financial reporting and controls. The Accounting Director will report to the Accounting Director. You’ll make an impact by

: Provide oversight, direction and strategy for the operational accounting practices Coordinate, implement and develop written policies, procedures and internal controls over the accounting and financial reporting processes Manage the preparation and distribution of internal financial statements and reports, maintaining the highest quality, reliability and accuracy Manage monthly closing process, including reconciliations and analysis of related accounts Manage inventory process and related financial reports and roll forwards Manage the accounting team to shorten the monthly closing process, including adding reconciliations and analysis of related accounts Review journal entries, invoices and other accounting transactions Review the company’s accounting information to identify and resolve issues on a monthly basis Coordinate, implement and develop written policies, procedures and internal controls over the accounting processes Provide training to non-financial personnel on internal control compliance and accounting procedures Provide support for the Company’s annual audit with the independent auditors and lead any other operational/tax audits Manage special projects, as needed Additional responsibilities may be added at the direction of the Company’s management You’ll sweep us off our feet if you:

Eight or more years of accounting experience, with growing responsibilities Three or more years of Supervisory experience Excellent knowledge of US GAAP, accounting and financial processes (budgeting, financial closure, reporting etc.) Understanding of data analysis and forecasting Advanced MS Excel spreadsheet and Word skills Well-organized with ability to prioritize Great communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail and problem-solving ability Professional certification (e.g. CPA) is a plus Your Rewards
