Job Overview:
  • The credit & collections representative position is responsible for the following:
  • Initiating communication regarding collection efforts for all branch locations
  • Providing customer service regarding balance, credit, and collection issues
  • The candidate must possess considerable skills in communication, organization, problem solving, critical thinking and sound judgment
Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Initiate collections-related correspondence with customers regarding past-due balances and delivery efforts
  • Educate customers on account status, delivery needs, alternate payment plans, and consequences of failure to pay
  • Process and review account adjustments
  • Analyze collections reports for accuracy
  • Assists other credit and collection personnel as considered necessary
  • Acts as a representative of the company with a sound knowledge of policy and procedure
Requirements

Education and Experience:
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Relevant experience preferred
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products
