is seeking an experienced auditor to join our Hattiesburg team. This individual will work on a wide range of accounting and auditing projects encompassing clients across a diverse set of industries, including commercial/small business, construction, not-for-profit, governmental, healthcare, and employee benefit plans. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Include:

Working under moderate supervision to complete assigned areas of engagement in an efficient and timely manner. Working on more complicated/riskier areas of audit engagements. Preparing financial statements with full disclosures. Working toward obtaining a CPA license, if not already completed. Assisting with training first-year staff accountants, primarily on an on-the-job basis. Serving as a role model in demonstrating TMH’s Core Values

Qualified candidates will possess the following:

Minimum two years of current and/or recent audit experience in public accounting. BA/BS degree in Accounting. CPA preferred. Applied working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, GAAS, and accounting procedures. Demonstrated ability to meet challenging client requirements. Ability and willingness to travel. Entry-level candidates working toward their CPA license will also be considered.
