Job Description:What You'll Do:
As a Cashier at Festival Foods, you will be at the forefront of our customer service efforts, ensuring each guest has a pleasant and efficient shopping experience. Your responsibilities will include:
- Engage with Guests: Engage in friendly conversations, make eye contact, and ensure every guest feels welcome and valued.
- Efficient Transactions: Scan grocery items, process sales and efficiently, and handle monetary transactions with care.
- Bagging with Care: As needed, bag items thoughtfully to ensure products reach their destination in the condition they left our store.
- Stay Informed: Maintain awareness of all promotions and advertisements to assist guests effectively.
- Maintain Order: Keep your register station neat and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
- Communication: Relay guest requests to the Guest Services leadership team as needed to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Quality Standards: Ensure all quality and quantity standards are met, especially during peak times at 10 am and 5 pm.
- Teamwork: Perform other duties as needed to support the team.
- Honor Commitments: Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule, and adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences.

- Customer Service Skills: Ability to engage with guests and provide outstanding service.
- Retail Experience: Ability to process information and merchandise transactions and hande cash and media at registers.
- Communication: Strong ability to communicate effectively with both customers and team members.
- Accuracy: Ability to read, count, and write accurately to ensure precise transactions.
- Equipment Operation: Ability to operate all equipment necessary to perform the job.
