The Opportunity:

We're looking for a Linux systems administrator to be part of an Agile team supporting the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of mission-critical systems. You'll perform systems administration responsibilities, including configuration, deployment, and management of RedHat-based operating systems and systems hardening. You'll review and provide updates to System Security Plans, and manage the IT system infrastructure, including virtualization, physical servers, or switches.

We focus on growing as a team, so you'll share your expertise through leadership and mentoring as you help the team work through challenges and develop new methodologies. As a technical leader, you'll identify new opportunities to modernize the network to help your customers meet their needs. Join our team and solve daily challenges for our customers.

You Have:
  • 6+ years of experience with systems administration
  • Experience with RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu
  • Experience with Cloud services, such as AWS, or Azure, services provisioning, management of virtual services, familiarity with vendor Platform as a Service offerings
  • Experience with system monitoring and maintenance, including service upgrades and security patching and IAVA management
  • Experience with configuration management support
  • Experience with RPM development, deployment, and upgrade experience
  • Knowledge of Puppet and SIMP, Ansible, Salt, Chef
  • Knowledge of configuration and workflow tools, such as GitLab or Jira
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree in Technology

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
