We are seeking an Experienced Tax Senior who is enthusiastic about taking on versatile roles within the company and growing our dynamic team.

Position Overview:

As an Experienced Tax Senior at Gulla CPA, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive tax preparation services to our clients. Leveraging your in-depth knowledge of tax regulations, excellent analytical skills, and strong attention to detail, you will contribute to delivering accurate, efficient, and high-quality tax solutions. Working in a collaborative and supportive environment, you will have the opportunity to further develop your expertise while shaping your career path as you grow with the firm.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare individual, business, and corporate tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
  • Conduct thorough tax research to provide insights and solutions for clients' unique tax situations.
  • Assist clients in optimizing their tax strategies, identifying potential deductions, credits, and tax-saving opportunities.
  • Collaborate with clients and colleagues to gather necessary financial information and documentation for accurate tax preparation.
  • Stay up to date with changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate relevant updates to team members and clients.
  • Function as a mentor to junior team members as we hire, providing guidance and support to facilitate their professional growth.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication, trust, and exceptional service.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in tax preparation or related roles within a tax and accounting firm, public accounting firm, or similar environment.
  • Profound understanding of federal, state, and local tax regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Strong proficiency in tax software (CS Suite Products preferred), financial analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify discrepancies and resolve complex tax issues.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
  • Embrace a multi-faceted role that supports the growth of our startup, including contributing to process improvements, team collaboration, and client relationship management.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines concurrently.
