The Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking all food items according to menus and expediting orders quickly and correctly. The Cook is also responsible for ensuring all stations are set to standards and following instructions from the Chefs.

Requirements:

* Follow instructions of Chef and Sous Chef.

* Ability to read orders from the point of sales system.

* Knowledge of cooking techniques for seafood stocks, grilling, sauting, and deep frying, as well as cold food prep.

* Knowledge of basic prep functions- i.e. cleaning greens, prepping vegetables and cutting skills for all fresh produce and fruit.

* Be able to cut, dice, flan, supreme, julienne, brunoise, med dice, large dice, and slice fresh fruit and produce.

* Knowledge of equipment and food.

* Knowledge of proper cooking procedures.

* Knowledge of proper knife handling and techniques.

* Understand all prep duties, how to run line if needed, and work middle station during busy times.
