JOB REQUIREMENTS: The RBS Specialist III is the LeanManufacturing/Continuous Improvement Specialist. Successful candidateswill make immediate contributions through enhancing key businessprocesses the add value to Our Customers, Our Shareholders, and OurAssociates. Focus will be on improving operational excellence aspects ofRenew Gear manufacturing operations in regards to Safety, Quality,Delivery, Productivity/Efficiency, and overall Profitability. Thisposition will be responsible to learn the Regal Rexnord Business Systemand the Core Business Processes, to adopt the Regal Rexnord standards,and apply & uphold the expectations set by these standards. KeyAccountabilities * Improve key business metrics of OTD, productivity,and EBITDA by implementing and supporting & leading lean and continuousimprovement activities. * Provide tactical/strategic implementation ofall elements of the Regal Rexnord Business System encompassing practicalapplication of lean operations, operational excellence and six sigmatools and processes across all aspects of the business. * Drive theoperation to reduce scrap, improve inventory turns, ensure 95% on-timedelivery to customer want date, improve and sustain product availabilityand reduce manufacturing lead times. * Promote and facilitate shopfloor workflow analysis and creating/implementation of standard work toachieve improvement priorities. * Ability to influence and lead changethroughout the organization. * Drive \"best practices\" in all areas ofresponsibility. * Lead efforts to reduce set-up time and increasethroughput to achieve and sustain OTD goals through the use ofdeployment and strategic business growth. * Educate, engage, andempower future leaders by creating and facilitating lean dailymanagement training and development programs. * Implement Leanprocesses in accordance with the organization\'s Lean ImplementationPlan. (Material Pull, Kanban, Standard Work, 6S, Value Stream Mapping,ProblemSolving, Kaizen) * Oversee organizational participation in leaninitiatives to achieve RBS metrics. * Drive associate participation(including process experts) in Lean initiatives *Institutionalizeproblem solving tools to address and resolve problems. * Promote GEMBAteaching and leadership skills.
