Summary Develop and implement solutions and enhancements for new and existing product lines Essential Duties and Responsibilities: · Engineer changes to existing product design for improved performance, appearance, and functionality · Evaluate product and modify designs to improve manufacturability, ease of installation and flexibility in the field · Create and modify engineering detailed drawings, assembly drawings and bills of material · Direct designs and establish specifications and standards · Apply basic principles to original design to meet newly developed customer requirements · Perform product training to field sales personnel and installers · Provide installers with on-site and remote assistance · Generate installation instructions · Initiate and conduct tests of new product designs Requirements: · Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks · Excellent problem-solving skills · SolidWorks proficiency preferred, AutoCAD experience beneficial · Detail oriented · Ability to interact with all levels of the organization · Some travel required Qualifications: · 0-5 years engineering experience in related field · Bachelor's or associate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field of study Pay $60-80k Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
