The Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) is seeking a General Otolaryngologist to join our team at the Lutherville-Timonium Medical Center. This position offers a unique opportunity to practice within the largest and most experienced integrated healthcare system in the country, serving over 800,000 members in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia.

In collaboration with the Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of the Mid-Atlantic States, we provide high-quality, patient-centered health care. Through this partnership, our physicians are part of an industry-leading health care delivery model, having access to advanced technological tools and receiving comprehensive practice support.

MAPMG physicians are salaried, without the pressures of alternative payment models or fee-for-services.Our members have easy access to specialists and medical records, thus allowing you to treat the whole patient.

What You Can Expect:

  • A busy referral-based surgical practice covering a wide range of the specialty, including head and neck, endocrine, sleep, pediatric, rhinology, otology, facial plastics, and skin cancer surgery.
  • Collaboration with a collegial team of 4 Baltimore Otolaryngologists and a Physician Assistant.
  • Support from a dedicated group of 4 Audiologists.
  • Collaboration with a wider network of MAPMG Otolaryngologists in our metropolitan service areas.
  • A captured patient population within an integrated delivery system, promoting the full breadth of Otolaryngology practice in a multi-specialty environment.
  • Opportunity for mentoring and teaching through our ongoing relationship with the Johns Hopkins Otolaryngology Residency program.
Minimum Requirements:
  • MD or DO, Board Certified or Eligible in Otolaryngology.
  • Ability to obtain medical licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia.
  • Graduating residents are encouraged to apply, with one year of experience preferred.
  • Otolaryngologists with subspecialty or fellowship training who are willing to include general practice are also encouraged to apply.

The starting annual salary for this position is $410,000 which considers an applicant's skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, training, market data, and other relevant factors. In addition to the salary range above, MAPMG offers rich benefits that add substantial value to the total compensation package.
