We would like to add an experienced Senior Project Manager to our team to work within the established culture and guidelines of the Company. Qualified candidates will have extensive Bay Area business knowledge and experience, as well as strong communication and IT skills, demonstrated leadership and at least 10 years of prior experience managing challenging projects. Position Title: Senior Project Manager Reports To: Operations Manager Status: Exempt Location: San Francisco Bay Area Required Experience: 10+ years Salary Range: $180,000 to 210,000+ Responsibilities and Duties Participate in pre?construction activities as needed Act as liaison with the client, architect, consultants, and the Department of Building Inspection Interface with site supervisors; look for and implement innovative construction methods Prepare and maintain project schedules Prepare project documents client change orders, subcontracts, subcontractor change orders, meeting minutes, letters, memorandums, notices, etc. Provide assistance coordinating with onsite contractors in planning and coordinating the stages of connecting new systems with existing utility systems Control and monitor subcontracts and monitor their performance Manage cost changes, track legitimate change order requests, compile fair pricing for work and forecast financial results accurately Review and expedite submittals and materials Monitor critical material items and deliveries Maintain quality control and production efficiency Maintain immediate and direct responsibility for production phases of the project; resolve production problems Oversee that job site safety procedures are being followed Provide feedback on production costs to the Estimating Department Objectives or Goals to Measure Performance Profitable, on?time completion of projects Promotion of positive image of the company Timely submittal of proposals Customer/client satisfaction Adherence to company policy and procedure manual Personal professional growth and education Minimum Skills or Experience Requirements Bachelor college degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or Architecture is required (advanced degree or training favored) Minimum often years construction?related experience is required overseeing projects valuing $50M to $200M Excellent English language verbal and written communication skills and effective interpersonal skills Working knowledge and experience with the following software and programs required: MS Project or Primavera 6 for project scheduling Sage Timberline Estimating and Procore for Construction Management On?Screen Takeoff construction estimating and takeoff solutions for contractors Precision estimating software where we put all our estimate line items Microsoft 365 Outlook (email) and cloud?based suite of productivity application like MS Teams Bluebeam for PDF markup and collaboration tool DocuSign Electronic signature and agreement Working knowledge and experience with the following software and programs preferred: AutoCAD for schematic design and presentations and project layout BIM for clash detection V?Planner knowledge in V?Planner (comprehensive solution for production planning and it supports the workflows of the Last Planner System (LPS)) Plant Construction Company L.P. is an Equal Opportunity Employer, offers a competitive salary and benefits package and has an excellent record of employee retention.
