Organization is willing to support a 40 hour/4 or 5 day work week. SKILLS AND ABILITIES of Nurse Manager : Ability to organize and coordinate patient care. Demonstrates knowledge and experience in leadership and operational skills. Demonstrates ability to establish good working relationships. Demonstrates high-level verbal and written skills. Demonstrates ability to cope with and function under stress. QUALIFICATIONS of Nurse Manager : A. Education: Licensed and currently registered in the State of Connecticut as a Professional Nurse required. Preparation in nursing management preferred. Baccalaureate degree required; Master's degree preferred. B. Experience: Seven years current psychiatric nursing experience required. Minimum of five years experience in a leadership position preferred.
