Position Summary/Essential Duties:
  • Ability to clean patient rooms, public spaces and the collection of trash and biohazardous material.
  • Familiar with using vacuum, wide vacuum, mop, wringer, burnisher, ladder, extractor.
  • Ability to assist family members and patients of all ages.
  • Ability to identify and or perform light maintenance requests.
  • Strong customer service skills required.
  • Initiates and maintains positive relationships with patients and coworkers.
  • Takes responsibility for self-development and supports a learning environment.
  • Displays commitment to the mission of the hospital and its values.
  • Cleaning and major surface maintenance experience in hospital setting preferred but not required.
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills, as well as, exhibits a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
  • May work in any location on client premises.
  • Responsibilities may differ among locations, depending on business necessities and client requirements
Qualifications:
Experience & Knowledge:
  • High School Equivalent / GED 3-5 years of experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 3 years of cleaning experience required.
  • Experience in hospital setting preferred.
  • Exposure/experience with floor work.
