BASIC FUNCTION:

The Group IT Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of IT operations in multiple, remote, plants within the organization. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for IT at their assigned plant locations, supporting end-users, daily IT activities and coordinating projects. This position will collaborate with other Group IT Coordinators in the organization, provide backup support for other plants and will contribute to the corporate IT function.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

•Provide technical assistance and timely issue resolution to plant staff, ensuring minimal downtime and high user satisfaction.

•Coordinate IT operations for assigned plants, ensuring that hardware, software, and network infrastructure are functioning optimally. Work with third party support and outside companies as needed.

•Collaborate with IT team and plant management to plan, implement, and manage IT projects, including system upgrades, software deployments, and process improvements.

•Serve as a backup for other IT Group Coordinators assigned to different plants during their absence, ensuring continuous IT support across all locations.

•Collaborate within the corporate IT team to contribute ideas, expertise, and insights that enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the organization's IT function.

•Assist in implementing and enforcing IT security policies and best practices across all plants to safeguard data and maintain compliance with relevant regulations.

•Identify IT training needs within assigned plants and conduct training sessions to empower employees with essential technical skills and knowledge.

Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance IT services and streamline operations.

Requirements

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS / ABILITIES:

•Proven experience in IT support, preferably in a multi-site environment

•Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

•Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

•Familiarity with industry best practices and compliance standards.

•Solid knowledge of IT systems, hardware, software, networks, and cybersecurity principles.

•Familiarity with Microsoft Administration: Office365, Azure, Active Directory and Desktop production

•Familiarity with Manufacturing process control systems

•Ability to learn quickly and stay current on new IT technologies and trends.

•Excellent communication skills both oral and written.

Fluency in English

QUALIFICATIONS:

•2 years' work experience IT support, preferably in a multi-site organization.

•Associates/bachelor's degree in an Information Technology related field or relevant IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, ITIL or equivalent work experience.

Must be willing to travel to different plant locations as needed.
