ProFrame, Inc. is a wood framing contractor based in Roseville, Ca. We are a young, innovative group that is revolutionizing the project approach throughout Northern California. We are currently seeking a Estimator to join us. Initially, this position will work with the Executvie team of ProFrame performing the tasks outlined below. Ideally this candidate will have vast experience in Wood Framing as a subcontractor, however experience working for General Contracting or Structural Engineering is also acceptable.
Tasks:
Collaborate with General Contractors, Developers, Architects during the preconstruction phase of projects.
Attend meetings with General
Contractors/Developers/Architects,
on potential projects.
Review project specifications and drawings to understand the Framing scope of work on each project.
Prepare material estimates utilizing takeoff software.
Update/maintain material pricing for accurate estimates.
Attend internal estimate review with President and CEO of ProFrame.
Prepare Bid Proposals and send to clients.
Log project bid information into online tracking system
Obtain quotes from Vendors to prepare accurate estimates
Create efficient bidding systems and procedures
Always looking to develop future business relationships and bidding opportunities
Qualifications and Requirements:
· 8+ years of experience in construction or AEC industry
· Preferably 5+ years experience in ESTIMATING: Multi-family, hospitality (hotels/motels), Mixed-use, and Commercial/Retail for wood framed projects.
· Strong computer skills. Experience in Revit and BIM is a plus.
· Bachelor Degree in Architecture or Construction Management, a must.
· Ability to thoroughly interpret Architectural and Structural plans & specifications
· Must be proactive, have strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills, and be customer service oriented
· Pass a record background check and drug test prior to employment
· Ability to meet required timelines
