Veterinary Surgeon or an individual who has completed surgical residency training to join our Akron, OH hospital. An extensive remodel of the hospital was recently completed and we now have 5 ORs in addition to one fluoroscopy-dedicated surgery suite. We also have arthroscopy, 3D printing capabilities for angular limb deformity repairs, and a dedicated radiology suite for post-operative imaging.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is dedicated to practicing the highest quality of care, and will join the MedVet Team treating over 100,000 patients annually.

MedVet Akron offers 24/7 Emergency services along with specialty services in Internal Medicine, Neurology & Neurosurgery, Oncology, and Rehabilitation & Acupuncture.
We are a VECCS Level II Emergency Facility.
