Walker Methodist Care Suites seeks part-time Waitstaff to work in our restaurant-style dining room that serves meals to the residents in the community. Be a part of an amazing team and culture

Part-Time, 6 shifts every two weeks, includes every other weekend, 11 am - 7:00 pm

Job Functions:

  • Assist with set-up and preparation of the dining room prior to dining service.
  • Greet, assist and seat residents and guests.
  • Serve food in a respectful, customer service oriented and timely manner.
  • Bus tables in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to sanitation guidelines, maintain sanitary conditions in the dining room, and work area.
Minimum qualifications:
  • Excellent resident centered customer service skills.
  • Energetic and self-motivated with the ability to work independently. Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively with a diverse population.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work within a team.
  • Sensitive and respectful of senior.
  • Knowledge of and ability to maintain infection control standards.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to foster and adhere to Walker's mission and values.
