We are searching for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Corporate Controlling team in our Irving, Texas North American headquarters.What youll get to doAssist with the monthly, quarterly and annual Close processes, including preparation and posting of journal entries, in accordance with the company's direction and regional reporting requirementsPrepare and review monthly account reconciliations. Maintain supporting schedules. Reconcile discrepanciesAssistance with lease accounting, internal controls and other reporting tasksPerform special projects and analysis as directed, including purchase price allocation for acquisitions, ESG reporting and Government GrantsAssist team with the annual external auditAssist in the development and implementation of process initiatives related to month end close, financial reporting, and business operationsEnsure compliance with accounting and reporting standardsEssential Experience and SkillsBachelors Degree in Accounting or FinanceMinimum of 5 years of professional accounting experienceUnderstanding of accounting theory, current accounting issues, and accounting systemsStrong written and verbal communication skills and must be able to communicate effectively with various departments throughout the organizationA proven track record in managing tasks, meeting deadlines, and working collaboratively as part of a teamCommitment and engagement through high level of work ethic and utilization of abilities for the best of the company, demonstrated drive and initiativePerformance and result managementDemonstrated openness to change, flexibility, and adaptabilityAbility to analyze business conditions and build partnerships across functionsStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects/prioritiesStrong strategic thinking, problem solving, and decision making skillsAbility to be responsive and persuasive at all levels of the organizationUnderstanding of financial statements and accounting relationshipsPreferred Experience and SkillsCertified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferredPublic accounting experience is preferredExperience and knowledge with IFRS is a plusExperience with SAP and Essbase is a plusWhat we have to offerHighly competitive benefits programs401k retirement savings plan with an automatic company contribution as well as matching contributionsHybrid work environmentEmployer Statement: Equal Opportunity Employer - Minority / Female / Veteran / Disabled#J-18808-Ljbffr
