job summary: An Quality Inspector is needed for a multinational corporation that produces mirrors as well as a variety of construction, high-performance, and other materials in the Orange, CT area. The Quality Inspector ensures compliance with quality standards through detailed inspections, certification reviews, and process audits to support timely production in a small-scale manufacturing environment.location: Orange, Connecticut job type: Contract salary: $22 - 26 per hour work hours: 8am to 4pm education: High School responsibilities: Ensure timely flow of products through inspection to meet deadlines.Inspect incoming materials for requirements conformance, review certifications, and issue reports in ERP system if needed.Perform in-process inspections to maintain quality standards.Review and approve certification packages for shipment in ERP system.Maintain organized, accurate electronic certification files in Quality Assurance.Assist lead inspector and department manager as needed. Skills: strong attention to detail and consistency in inspections.Proficient with calipers, micrometers, and other common inspection tools.Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications.Previous experience in a smaller production environment preferred.
