**Overview**The Chattanooga Heart Institute offers the most comprehensive cardiac care available in this region. Founded in 1976 we now have six offices in Tennessee and one in Georgia. Our practice is made up of 29 board-certified cardiologists and four cardiothoracic surgeons. We merged with CHI Memorial Health Care System in 2011 which is part of CommonSpirit Health. CommonSpirit has more than 700 care sites across the U.S. and is committed to building healthy communities.**Responsibilities****Job Summary:**Coordinates quality patient care under the supervision of the physician(s).**Essential Responsibilities:**+ Review and prep chart for office visit.+ Maintain patient flow through the clinic.+ Assess patient, collect appropriate data and perform testing to prepare patient for provider visit.+ Prepare patient and room for wound care and/or minor procedures.+ Forward test results and documentation to provider for review; execute orders as received. Notify patient of test results and endure appropriate follow up per protocol.+ Timely response of all patient care inquiries.+ Facilitate posting of surgical cases and coordination of equipment, representatives, etc.+ Facilitate completion of physician orders for Home Health Care, Wound Care and Wound Care Therapy.+ Patient and family/caregiver education.**Qualifications****Education:**+ Graduate from an accredited RN program.**License/Certification:**+ Valid Tennessee RN license+ BLS Certification+ ACLS certification within 90 days**Qualifications:**+ One year in a clinical nursing setting.+ Cardiology experience a plus**Pay Range**$26.38 - $38.26 /hourWe are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
