Our wonderful resident to caregiver ratio helps make this mission possibleAs the Controller, your benefit package includes:Medical, dental, vision, and a complimentary life insurance policy401k plan with an employer matchPTOCertification cost assistanceYearly tenure bonusYour Controller duties and responsibilities are as follows:Position SummaryThis position is responsible for all accounting functions related to all entities within Oxford Senior Living and assists the CFO with special projects upon request.Essential FunctionsLeadership and Accounting ManagementSupervision of Accounting SpecialistProvide oversight and review coding of A/P invoices from communities prior to payment and maintain expense tracker spreadsheet for all disbursements including petty cashReview community customer billing with all operating communitiesReview biweekly payroll, including related tax payments and returnsReconcile monthly billing and cash receipts from Rent Roll to bank statements and ensure communities deposit cash receipts timely and accuratelyGeneral AccountingPrepare all account and bank reconciliations for corporate accountsMaintain cash and borrowing needs and notify CFO for required bank transfersMaintain general ledgers for all communities under developmentBudget PreparationAssist Operations in preparation of annual community budgets as requiredAssist CFO in development of proformas for developing communities as neededReportingPrepare monthly financial statements for Oxford Development Holidings, LLC.Review monthly community level financial statements and monthly investor financial statementsPrepare annual tax workpapersAdditionalAssist the CFO will other financial projects upon requestSuccessful Behavioral Attributes at Oxford Senior LivingHumility: Share credit, emphasize team, and define success collectively rather than individuallyPositive Attitude: Display a "can-do" attitude focused on providing solutionsInitiative: Action-oriented commitment to continuous improvement in all aspects of the businessEmotional Intelligence: Serve the community by placing the needs of the community team members and residents ahead of your ownMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related disciplineFive (5) years experience as a Controller or other Accounting ManagementPreferred QualificationsSeven (7) years of full service accounting experiencePrior accounting experience in an environment with multiple business entitiesPhysical Working RequirementsAbility to travel using personal vehicle, including at nightAble to work flexible schedule, including evenings and/or weekendsTeam Member is subject to outside environment conditions occasionally, inside conditions frequently, with protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changeBy joining our team as the Controller, you will be able to help us continue the vision of helping others and creating meaningful relationships.
