JOB REQUIREMENTS: We Energies, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, isseeking aSpecialist I in ourPewaukee, Wisconsin location.This is a jobfamily position were expereince will be the determining factor. JobSummary General responsibilities are to support Customer Service andOperations (CSO) by performing business and operations analysis worksupporting the business decision-making needs of CSO. The Specialistwill act as a liaison between the IT development group and businessunits for the development and implementation of enhancements to existingsystems and new systems. This position performs business systems needsanalysis, assists in formulating and defining systems scope andobjectives through research and fact finding combined with a basicunderstanding of business systems and industry requirements. Otherresponsibilities include; defining specifications, conducting testing,implementing and maintaining systems, and assists in developingrecommendations to solve problems and issues related to business systemoperations. This role may also require project management oversight onCSO initiatives. This position also has a role during stormmobilizations. Job Responsibilities Assists in the building andmaintaining of business systems Ensures systems are operating asdesigned, evaluates requests for changes, and provides routine systemmaintenance Documents system processes and procedures, suggests systemimprovements, and makes daily decisions involving direct application oftechnical knowledge to system issues Leads project managementinitiatives for system and departmental projects Assists in developingbusiness cases while managing the budget and timeline for the projectAssesses and refines system functionality by formulating solutions,developing test plans, conducting testing, and implementing improvementsArticulates customer and technology requirements into structureddocuments and communications with customers and IT specialists to ensurethe requirements can be clearly understood Maintains relationships withother IT areas and outside vendors Coordinates work with IT staff andother business units Ensures business systems are operating at anacceptable level of quality Monitors the use of routine controls andassists end users in developing reports and/or database queriesTroubleshoots outage management system issues and relates feedback to ITfor resolution Supports a variety of outage management tools and systemssuch as; PCAD, OMS/ADMS, ARCOS, SharePoint, and OM Web Portal Assists inthe development and roll out of system and storm process trainingMaintains and updates a variety of documentation including; manuals,lesson plans, and...
