We're currently seeking a skilled and driven Millwork Drafter/Engineer to join us in turning ideas into reality.
Responsibilities include:
- Shop Drawings: Craft detailed and precise shop drawings for customer approval.
- Timely Delivery: Ensure shop drawings are completed on time to meet client deadlines.
- Revisions: Update shop drawings based on redline changes and field dimensions.
- Collaborative Meetings: Engage in hand-off meetings with Sales, Estimating, and Project Management to grasp project scope.
- Research: Investigate hardware and appliance specifications to ensure accuracy.
- CNC Programming: Program jobs for CNC machining with precision.
- Problem-Solving: Identify special or unique items and situations, offering creative solutions,
- Time Management: Handle multiple draft engineer projects simultaneously.
- Documentation: Update shop drawings to create accurate As-Built Drawings for project close-out.
- Experience: At least 5 years of hands-on experience with AutoCAD.
- Technical Skills: Proficient with Microvellum; programming experience is a strong plus.
- Industry Knowledge: Extensive understanding of cabinet making and millwork.
- Blueprint Proficiency: Skilled in reading and interpreting architectural drawings.
- Standards Familiarity: Well-versed in AWI standards.
