Overview

Responsible for overseeing all aspects of our operations, including Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality and EHS. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to optimize processes, enhance efficiency, and deliver high-quality products to our customers. As a key member of the leadership team, will contribute to the overall strategic direction and growth of the company.

Responsibilities

Must be strategic, results oriented, and have an established background working in a Lean environment. The position is accountable for directing and providing leadership to the manufacturing and operational functions including disciplines of Manufacturing, supply chain and quality toward the achievement of established policies, goals, and operating objectives. Ability to delegate appropriately, but capable of getting involved in details at an operational level as situation(s) may warrant.

Develop an environment of continual improvement using Lean tools. Be able to describe the quality policy and goals, your contribution to quality, and the effects of not observing quality and customer requirements. Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives. Lead and manage operations including all manufacturing, engineering, supply chain and quality related functions to ensure efficient production processes and timely delivery of products. Establish and maintain effective supply chain management practices, including procurement, inventory control, and supplier relationships. Support and promote ownership and accountability of our Quality Management System. Identify areas for process improvement, cost reduction, and operational efficiency enhancement using Lean principles. Implement performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and evaluate operational performance. Collaborate with design engineering, product management, and quality assurance teams to drive product development and continuous improvement initiatives. Develop and maintain strong relationships with external partners, suppliers, and vendors. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices. Manage and develop a high-performing operations team, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback. Maintain a strong focus on environmental, health and safety performance and culture. Develop and manage operations budgets. Represent manufacturing in forecasting supply and planning process. Execute operational excellence with our MRP system and build supply chain capability throughout the organization. Implement major capital projects on-time and on budget. Recommend and administer policies and procedures to enhance operations. Work with department managers and corporate staff to develop three- and five-year business plans for the company. Establish and implement short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures. Serve on planning and policy-making committees.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, operations management, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred. Proven experience (8+ years) in operations management, preferably in a manufacturing or technology-driven industry. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, facility management, supply chain, and quality. Demonstrated experience in driving operational excellence, process improvement, and cost reduction initiatives. Proficiency in implementing performance metrics and using data-driven insights to make informed decisions. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization. Working knowledge of ERP systems and operational tools. Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements in the manufacturing industry. Working knowledge with ISO 9001 standards and requirements Familiar with Lean and Six Sigma Principles
